The term student-athlete is term you will hear often in college sports. But what does it mean?

A student-athlete is a student who participates in college sports while also pursuing their academic studies. It is a combination of two important roles: being a student and being an athlete.

Student-athletes are expected to balance their athletics with their academic responsibilities. This means hard work, dedication and commitment.

What are scholarships?

We divide scholarships between athletic and academic scholarships.

These scholarships are offered by colleges and universities in the United States and provide financial support to help cover the cost of tuition, fees, and other expenses associated with attending college.

A coach can offer you an athletic scholarship to attract you to play for their team. The school can give you an academic scholarship if you have high grades and show academic excellence
